I selected the property for a number of reasons.  I wanted property in the Jaco area.  I now consider myself familiar with Costa Rica and this area by far is the most appealing to me.  It's more scenic and has a close proximity to a very functional town.  The property itself is spectacular with almost everything you would want.  Mountains, wildlife, usable/beautiful ocean and a nice walk into a little town.  The highway is the best in the entire country.

Golf is very important to me and my family and the layout of this course will be unmatched in the country.  Just go down the road in either direction and you'll find a good golf course but will not compare for 18 holes like this one.  As Jack Nicklaus said, there just aren't many golf courses on the ocean.  Ocean and mountains on the same course is almost unheard of.

I am completely confident in the developer's ability to deliver a top quality product.  Their experience is one thing but the first hand approach and knowledge of the area is also convincing.  The web site is not only very well done and comprehensive but is also updated frequently as things progress.

I was very happy with the design of the project, the views, the builder was very professional and the location, Playa Esterillos is one of my favorite beaches.  This location in Costa Rica is only 45 minutes from one of the most Beautiful National Parks of the country, Manuel Antonio.  I also liked the fact it was only a 2 hour drive from San Jose which means I can be at my property from the Airport with only a short drive. 

The Golf course will be great to play but the view of a Golf Course next to my property will only add to the appeal and value of my purchase. 

The fact that I've invested in other projects in Costa Rica has made me realize that research on a builder is essential.  I was not only impressed with both Mr. Dowd Sr. but as well with Mr. Dowd Jr.  The developer explains the project extremely well with "reality" time frames rather than exaggerations like some other builders in the area that I spoke with.
